June 2018. This is a larger version of my previous series of paintings called Maps. It consists of 3 paintings 50x50cm and some smaller ones, same dimension of the older ones, that is 12x12cm. In this series of works I use ink together with watercolour, and created abstract patterns. The Maps can evoke the marks left by the movement of natural elements, like the flight of birds, the swing of leaves, the falling of rain, the blowing of the wind, the flowing of rivers…
Giugno 2018. Questa è una versione più grande della serie Mappe. Si tratta di un gruppo di tre opere 50x50cm ed altre opere della stessa dimensione delle precedenti, ovvero 12x12cm. Con questa serie uso l’inchiostro insieme all’acquerello per disegnare motivi più o meno astratti. Le mappe possono ricordare le tracce lasciate dal movimento di elementi naturali, come il volo degli uccelli, le foglie, la pioggia, il vento, il corso dei fiumi…
