In this series of works I went back to using ink together with watercolour, and created abstract patterns. The Maps can evoke the marks left by the movement of natural elements, like the flight of birds, the swing of leaves, the falling of rain, the blowing of the wind, the flowing of rivers… In cherry maps I drew common but evocative subjects.

Con questa serie sono ritornata ad usare l’inchiostro insieme all’acquerello per disegnare motivi più o meno astratti. Le mappe possono ricordare le tracce lasciate dal movimento di elementi naturali, come il volo degli uccelli, le foglie, la pioggia, il vento, il corso dei fiumi… Oppure ho disegnato soggetti comuni ma evocativi.
